Base of this chimney cap designed exclusively for air-cooled (double or triple wall pipe) chimneys system. It will fit over the other layers of pipe preventing any moisture from entering the system, and allowing air flow without interfering with the convection cooling features of air cooled chimneys. Circulating base feature separate passages for cooling air to flow uninterrupted through convection cooled chimneys.

Installation: This product comes fully assembled. No drilling or gluing. Insert base of the cap into chimney pipe, wrap stainless steel strap around cap base legs and tighten with provided bolt and nut. A stainless steel strap locks the cap down onto the base of the chimney and holds it in place preventing the wind from blowing it off.
